Exterior (95%): The exterior of the building, including the car parking area and signposting are in outstanding condition. the grounds and gardens are maintained to an excellent overall standard.

Bedrooms (86%): The stayover room (Room 3) was of an excellent overall standard with a frantastic antique French bed. The linen and bedding was in pristine condition and the bed was extremely comfortable to sleep on. The beds in all other bedrooms are of a very high standard and must make interesting talking points....an excellent range of accessories in all the bedrooms.

Bathrooms/WC's (85%): The ensuite bathrooms doors work really well and create more space in the bedrooms than conventional doors. All standards maintained in the bathrooms as previous visit.

Public Areas (88%): The carpeting in the small sitting area and throughout the public areas in the property remain in excellent condition. The small sitting area is very well laid out and must be well used.

Restaurant/Dining (88%): All standards maintained in this bright and well presented dining room.

Food (90%): A large well presented buffet table with a large choice of cereals, fruits, yoghourts. The individually numbered tables avoid confusion and the jugs of orange juice on the tables are an excellent idea. The porridge was delicios and the cooked plate of scrambled egg and smoked salmon was well presented and very tasty.

Hospitality & Service (88%): The service was very good even though most of the guests seemed to arrive at the same time. the housekeeping was found to be excellent throughout the property at the time of both my visits. Thank you very much, I had a very comfortable stay.

Other (80%): A very good standard of tourist information was found throughout Alltavona Guest House.
